Americos Catasoft 2000 Flake is an excellent cationic softener, cold water rapid soluble for cotton, terry cotton knitted blend fabrics, and for resin processing industry. It has a very good hand feeling and antistatic properties. Because of its low-yellowing specific characteristic, it is very suitable for blue and white jeans laundry or stone-washing processing.

Americos Opti-Bright XBL (Fluorescent Brightener for Cotton & Pulp) Americos optical brightening agent is highly concentrated optical brightener for cellulosic fabrics. The brightness obtained by Americos Optibright XBL has a bluish tone. It is used in low dosages and is cost effective.

Applications
Americos Opti-bright XBL can be applied at the final stage of processing or a stage earlier. It can be used in hydrogen peroxide/chlorine bleaching bath at elevated temperature of up to 150°C. The dosage may vary from 0.1% to 0.5% (on weight of material). The processing time can be adjusted between 10 to 30 minutes.

Americos Flame Retardant 7290 Americos Flame Retardant 7290 will enable treated cotton and polyester/cotton blends to pass various vertical flame retardant specifications, such as California drapery standards Title # 19, NFPA-701, Federal Test Methods 5903. Etc.

Properties

Usage :
The Concentration of the pad formulation of Americos Flame Retardant 7290 applied to polyester/cotton blends or 100% polyester will depend upon the flame retardant specifications to be met. For vertical flame tests such as NFPA-701, California drapery tests, New York City requirements, etc., we suggest a dry add-on of 15 -25% based on the weight and construction of fabric. Pad the fabric through a finish solution containing Americos Flame Retardant 7290 35- 60% (ows) to an 80% wet pick-up and dry. The concentration of the pad bath may be adjusted for fabric at 150°C or below to avoid any tendency toward yellowing the cotton portion of the blend.

The addition of 1% (ows) Americos Flame Retardant 7290 to the stock bath will assist in wetting out and penetration. This is especially beneficial when treating tight constructions. Normal wetting agents are ineffective in flame retardant solutions. Americos Flame Retardant 7290 has no wetting properties in plain water; it is an excellent wetting agent and penetrate when used in solutions containing Americos Flame Retardants.

Usage continued :
The chemicals in this compound are composed of a water solution of salts. Concentrated solutions accidentally spilled on the skin or in contact with the eyes should be thoroughly rinsed with water.

Americos Nanodure SGDS (Stain-guard finishing agent for dust, sand & dry soil)
Americos Nanodure SGDS is a special stain-guard finishing agent of the dust, sand and dry-soil (mud, clay) staining. • It can be used together with other finishing agent. But preliminary test must be done very well, because there are some cases where the stain-guard effect is fallen.

Stain-guard effect:

• Put “a original fabric & a finished fabric” and “sand (1g)” into a small bag, then this small bag is waved in every direction 50 times.
• After take each fabric out of this small bag, and lightly beat each fabric.
• Then compare with the remained quantity of the sand on the surface of each fabric.

Precautions in storing:

• Storing in normal conditioned sheltered area. Keep cool and dry. Sealed up.

Americos Vitamin E Finish (Microcapsules to Textiles)
(1) One Bath Pad-Dry MethodPreparation
All products should be diluted first before mixing, Never add capsules in concentrated form into the bath.

Pad Through Following Trough Mixture

• Americos Wettex 800 : 0.1 g/l (Wetting agent) / Nonionic penetrating
• Americos Vitamin E Finish :30 g/
• Americos Resin Binder :50-80 g/l (Nonionic Acrylic Binder)
• Americos Nanosoft 1140 : 20 g/l

Finally make up the bath to 1000 parts with water.Pad the fabric with the above recipe for 90% pick-up and then dry/cure at 155°C for 30 seconds.

(2) Exhaust Method:
This method is recommended for garment processing and should not be applied in the jet.

Steps involved in the exhaust method

• Add the garments to the machine
• Fill the water to a liquor ratio of 1:10
• Dilute the microcapsules and gently stir to make good dispersion of capsules
• Add diluted capsules to the bath (an anionic dispersing agent can be added to ensure good dispersion)
• Run the machine for 10 min
• Raise the temperature to 50-60^°C depending on binder''s characteristics
• Run the machine for further 15 min
• Add a nonionic binder
• Run the machine for further 15 min
• Add nonionic softener and run the machine for 15 min (if required )
• Drain
• Hydro extract
• Dry (do not exceed 155^°C)

Americos Anti-Microbial 400 (Anti-bacterial agent for textile) The Sanitary Finished Americos Anti-Microbial 400 is a nano corpuscle anti-bacterial agent effective for all kinds of fibers (especially excellent for natural fibers). It holds the anti-bacterial ability to many kind of germs, and the durability is excellent. (Staphylococcus, pneumococcus, Escherichia coli, ticks, fungus) Also, it is low virulent and the degree of purity is high, and safe for high temperature heat and for UV rays. The solubility to water and the compatibility with resistant type resin and fabric softener is excellent. Americos Wrinkle Free ARN
Introduction:
Americos Wrinkle Free ARN is glyoxal based self-catalyzed cross-linking agent. It provides crease resistant, dimensionally stable finishing of textiles of cellulosic fibers and their blends.

Pad the fabric with above recipe at 70-80% pick up Dry at 100°-120°C leaving 8-10% moisture in fabric Cure at 150°C for 3-4 min.(on Stenter )

Americos Dispersol DX
Introduction :
Americos Dispersol DX is anionic dye dispersing agent. It prevents dyestuff agglomeration and prevents precipitation in dye bath.

The Features of Americos Dispersol DX are :

• Dispersing agent for use in the dyeing of polyester
• Dyeing polyester/wool blends with disperse and acid or 1:2 metal-complex dyes or corresponding dyestuff blends
• Dispersing agent in dyeing with vat dyes
• Dyeing of triacetate fibers with disperse dyes

Americos Dispersol DX is a dispersing agent used to disperse dyes in the preparation bath before dyeing and to maintain the stability of the dispersion during dyeing. The amounts required are 2 g/l Americos Dispersol DX in the preparation bath and 0.5-2 g/l in dye baths, depending on depth of shade and liquor ratio.

Application Method :

1. Preparation of the dye bath liquor. Sprinkle disperse dyes into 10-15 parts soft water (30^° - 40 ^°C) containing dissolved Americos Dispersol DX and stir continuously. Dilute further with water. This liquor is then added to the dye bath.
2. Application in the dye bath to maintain the stability of the dispersion during dyeing, add 0.5-2 g/l pre-dissolved Americos Dispersol DX, depending on depth of shade and liquor ratio, to the warmed dye bath. Then add the normal amounts of carrier required for dyeing at the boil or leveling agents required for HT dyeing. Add thoroughly dispersed dye as usual.

Dyeing cellulosic fibers with vat dyes
When dispersing large quantities of dyes, it is advisable to add 1.5-3 g/l Americos Dispersol DX. When working with vat dyes, Americos Dispersol DX improves the levelness of pigmentation, especially on circulating liquor units. For the exhaust, pigmentation and half-pigmentation processes, add 1.5 - 3 % Americos Dispersol DX

Dyeing polyester/wool blends
Americos Dispersol DX is required to ensure that the dyes remain finely dispersed throughout the dyeing process. This is particularly important when dyeing wound packages and at short liquor ratios. Americos Dispersol DX also has good leveling action on 1:2 metal complex dyes.

Application Method :
Heat the liquor to 30-40 °C and add 1-2 % Americos Dispersol DX (pre-dissolved). Then add acetic acid and the carrier. When the acid and auxiliary have been dispersed evenly, add the well-dispersed or dissolved dyes. Dye and finish as usual.
